Escape the ordinary. This isn't just a cabin, it's a full-scale Northwoods sanctuary.
Tucked into the birch and pine forests outside Grand Rapids, MN, this spacious retreat sits on its own private acreage with room to breathe, explore, and truly unwind. While the lakeshore crowd is packed shoulder-to-shoulder, you'll be savoring something rarer: space, silence, and seclusion, with Itasca County's famously clear lakes just minutes from your door.
The Kitchen Will Blow You Away Most cabins give you a hot plate and a prayer. This one delivers a chef's kitchen with rich mahogany cabinetry, granite countertops, a massive island, vaulted ceilings, and gleaming hardwood floors. Cook a real meal. Gather around the island with your whole crew. This is what "cabin kitchen" should mean.
The Primary Bath Is Resort-Level A jetted soaking tub wrapped in custom tile work, a walk-in glass shower, dual vanities with granite, and warm wood accents throughout. After a day on the water, this bathroom hits differently.
Private Acreage You Can Actually Use No neighbors in your sightline. A sprawling lawn, mature trees, and an elevated deck overlooking the property. Kids can run. Adults can breathe. Everyone can finally put the phones down.
The Lakes Are Right There, And They're Stunning Grand Rapids sits at the heart of Minnesota's Itasca County, home to some of the clearest, most pristine lakes in the entire state, fed by glacial springs and protected forestland. Clearwater Lake, just moments away, lives up to its name. Launch a kayak, drop a fishing line, or just float. You'll understand why people have been coming to this corner of Minnesota for generations.
Some places are close to the lake. This place is the experience, the lake is just part of it.
Garbage If you are staying on a Thursday, bring the garbage and recycling bins to the end of the driveway for pickup by Friday morning. All garbage must be bagged. There are bags under the sink. Thank you!
Noise & Parties Quiet hours are 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please be respectful of the surrounding community. Rudeness, property damage, or excessive noise may result in termination of your stay and immediate departure from the home.
Smoking & Vaping Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside the home. Additional fees will apply to any signs of indoor smoking or vaping, improperly disposed cigarette butts (including those left in the yard), and related rule violations.
Hunting No hunting is permitted anywhere on the property, including the surrounding acreage. Please note this is a rural area and neighboring land may be used for hunting during Minnesota's hunting seasons.
Wildlife & Food Storage Please keep food, coolers, and garbage bags indoors or in a closed vehicle overnight. This is bear and raccoon country, and unsecured food or trash can attract wildlife to the property.
Fire Pit If using the outdoor fire pit, never leave it unattended and fully extinguish it before going inside or to bed. Please check for any local burn restrictions during dry conditions.
Generator & Propane This home has a backup generator and propane tanks on site. Please do not operate, adjust, or tamper with either. If you notice an issue, contact us right away.
Well & Septic This home is on a private well and septic system. Please do not flush wipes, paper towels, feminine hygiene products, or anything other than toilet paper, and avoid pouring grease or harsh chemicals down drains.
Flooring Care The bedrooms have new carpet and the basement has new LVP flooring. Please help us keep it looking great: remove muddy or wet shoes and boots at the door and wipe up spills promptly. Damage beyond normal wear will be charged as an additional fee.
Pets Up to 2 pets are welcome. A $100 non-refundable pet fee must be announced and paid prior to arrival. Please treat your pet the way you would treat children or drunk adult guests.
General Respect for the Home Please treat our home the way you would want someone to treat yours. Excessive mess, rule violations, or damage may result in additional cleaning or repair charges
